Canada Summer Employment Grant

Canada Summer Jobs is an initiative of the Summer Work Experience program. It provides funding for not-for-profit organizations, public sector employers and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create summer job opportunities for students between the ages of 15 and 30.

Thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs grant. we have been able to hire a Farm Apprentice for 6 weeks to 3 months every season.

The mission of the RISQ is "to contribute, with our expertise, to the development of social economy enterprises in Québec by providing accessible financial tools adapted to their specific characteristics and phases of development."

Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges

Our local Desjardins branch made a two year commitment (2018-19) to the development of the Hudson Heartbeet Community Farm.

Fondation Béati

"Béati est une fondation active depuis plus de 25 ans au Québec. Elle a soutenu plusieurs centaines de groupes à travers les années. La Fondation Béati veut contribuer à construire un monde plus juste et plus solidaire, en soutenant financièrement et en accompagnant des initiatives oeuvrant en ce sens."

IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Leadership Program

The IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Leadership Program brings together people passionate about improving our communities and creating a more sustainable world.

Thanks to funding awarded to Loïc Freeman-Lavoie from an IMPACT! grant, the HFC launched its Seed Library and Garden Project in 2016.

Concordia Food Coalition

The Concordia Food Coalition is a non-profit organization concerned about the social, ecological, and economic implications of the food system at Concordia University.

The CFC partners with two of the HFC's projects: The Hudson Land Trust Project and The Hudson Community Farm are both working groups of the CFC and receive funding for specific aspects development.

MRC Vaudreuil-Soulanges

Located west of the Island of Montréal and extending to the Ontario border, Hudson is one of the twenty-three (23) municipalities within the territory.

The MRC Vaudreuil-Soulanges, in partnership with the CLD, has provided funding through the Community Development Fund for the development of the Hudson Community Farm.
